The Berry Sweetest!

A Fun, Hands-On, Educational, Agricultural Experience!

It’s Strawberry time!

Welcome to Liuzza Land! We're excited to welcome public schools, private schools, homeschool groups, and church groups to experience our 250-acre working farm. Our Spring season runs from March 16th-May1st.

Since 2011, Liuzza Land has been the place where learning comes to life through engaging, educational field trips. Students of all ages are invited to discover the wonders of farming, sustainability, and the importance of knowing where our food comes from. While we’re famous for our delicious strawberries, we grow many other seasonal fruits and vegetables throughout the year!

We understand that a successful field trip requires careful planning. You can expect a well-organized and seamless visit from the moment you arrive. Our field trip programs are thoughtfully designed with age-appropriate activities to ensure every student, from Pre K to 5th grade, is engaged and learning. From the moment you step off the bus, your group becomes farmers for the day. We like to keep things structured, and stress free, so leave the planning up to us!

WHAT IS INCLUDED:

  • STRAWBERRY PICKING- Each child, parent, and teacher will receive a clamshell container to pick and take home their very own fresh strawberries.

  • AG-LAND EXPERIENCE: A fun and educational scavenger hunt at Liuzza Land! Students will explore the farm and collect three important items for their basket — milk, eggs, and a sweet potato. As they hunt for these items, students will learn where their food comes from and how it makes its way from the farm to the market. After collecting everything, they’ll “sell” their items at our Liuzza Land Market to earn play dollars, which they can then use to “buy” fresh fruit from our real market stand. During this activity they will get to see our farm animals throughout the barn and feed our cows.

  • Flower Picking- Visit our flower field and pick fresh flowers

  • Tractor Ride- Each student will take a ride on our tractor at the farm.

  • Honeybee Exhibit – Visit with our working honeybees and learn how they help our farm thrive

  • Alpaca Exhibit- Visit our 3 alpacas on your way to the barn during the scavenger hunt.

  • Seed Planting- Learn how to grow your own red bean to take home and watch it grow.

  • NEW! Inflatable Jump Pad- Back by popular demand!

  • Zip-Lines and Slides- Soar on our thrilling zip lines or zoom down our slides.

  • Farm Market/shaded Lunch Pavilion: This is where all school groups will enjoy lunch. Our pavilion offers plenty of shaded seating for everyone. Food, drinks, flats of strawberries, and other local produce are available for purchase. Outside lunches are also welcome.

4th & 5th Grade Trips

Our 4th and 5th grade field trips are designed to be both educational and interactive, providing hands-on learning experiences that align with what students are studying in the classroom. During their visit, they’ll explore the farm through guided discussions and activities that encourage observation, problem-solving, and critical thinking. These trips are a great way to connect science and social studies concepts to the real world, helping students see how the lessons they learn in school come to life around them.
